The article that I wrote was done for the school magazine to try and display the dangers and how big the scale that online bullying has become
The article that I have done is for I have tried to aim for my target audience. The target audience that am aiming for is between the ages or 11-18 years old of both genders as it has been made for a high school magazine. This is meant that I have had to pick suitable language that would be used by a student which would make the article more reliable and would take more interest in the article. I didn't want to use language that they wouldn't understand because if they didn't understand the language then they would give up with the article. This might make them feel that they are not talking to them like a friend but they are talking to them like they are talking down to them.
I have made my article look very professional. I have done this by the way that I have put my words into two columns I have done this because it looks like a lot of the other articles that I have seen. This makes it look very professional. This will be important because if it doesn't look like a normal article then people are going to take one look at the article and not want to read. what I have also done for my presentation is broke the big article down in smaller paragraphs. This is good because then when people see the article they will read it because it doesn't look long an boring and people will read on. I made sure that the first paragraph that I have wrote was interesting and made people want to read on.
In my article I have used quotes from people throughout the article I have used a lot of percentages that I have I collected. one way that I collected the percentages was through using my secondary sources. This allowed me to use the percentages that they had collected to back up the points I had made. Another way that I have used percentages is through my primary research because I was able to use the answers that i got and turn them into percentages
The ways that I will distribute my article will be using print based methods and also using online methods. By doing this it will allow me to reach a bigger audience. If the article is placed online it will help the article to reach more people because they will be able to share it with each other and then they will share it and that cycle will just keep going on. distributing it via print is good because it means that they will be able to give it around the school to make sure that it gets to the right people.

P5- draft
For my title and I have used a rhetorical question. This is good for the article because this will draw in people to read my article. It will all so also get the people that are reading the article to think about the how safe they are currently online. This will be mean that they will want to read on and see what could be dangerous.
In the article I have used statistics throughout. I have done this so that they will know that I have done my research. This is good because it shows the reader that I am a reliable source and that the article is trustworthy
I have spilt my article down in small paragraphs because then It makes the article a lot easier to read. This is also good because if people look at the article and just see one long paragraph they may not want to read it but if it is split up then people are more likely to read the whole thing.
The way that I have wrote the article suits the way that I want the article for. It suits the school magazine with the way that it is done.

P4 & M3
For my primary research I did a questionnaire with a few members of the target audience that I am aiming for.
These are the answers to my questionnaire. I did this because I believed that it was this was the most effective way of getting the information that I needed from the audience that I wanted. I choice this over a focus group because I thought that if I was in a focus group that other peoples opinion might effect there answers. This is good because they can do it on there own and don't have anyone there to effect there answers.
The answers that I got where very interesting because this meant that I was able to look at what I wanted to write about. This allowed me to focus on the points that people are most interested and the points that's people don't know about. This is good because it means that the article can focus around these points and tell people interesting facts that they may not have known. the main question that I wanted to focus on was the last question because I needed to see how safe children felt at school and look at if they feel like the school are doing the right things to help out with the problem that is cyber bullying.
secondary sources
For the secondary sources I have used 2 different websites for information. I have picked reliable source. This is important that the it is reliable because then the information that I use for my article is true. It is important that it isn't true because if it isn't true they people wont see the article as reliable and wont want to carry on reading. Another reason that I have used secondary sources is that so I can show other peoples opinions on the matter. This is showing that it isn't just all from my view and other people so that the points that I put forward are proven by other peoples points. I have also made sure that the websites that I have used are from companies that very known. This is good because you know that a range of different people are going to look on this webpage. This is important because I ill not be the only person looking at this website and they will have to make sure it is all correct

P4- article plan
Internet safety
How is Deyes keeping the internet safe in 2018?
The first news value that I will be using the closeness
value this is because the article that I will be creating this article about
deyes and will be produced so that people from deyes will be able to read it.
Also use the ordinary news value because it is a story that is talking about
everybody that could go to school and could relate to a large amount of people.
I will present the information in a way that it is easy to read and so that
when people look at the article they want to read it and won’t get bored. I will
also have quotes from someone that I have interviewed on the matter so that
they can also hear from somebody else about it. It could cause moral panic
through hyperbole because in the article people might see all the things that
could happen if the school was not secure and be scared in case one day it did
break. Moral panic through emotive language because I will use words that so
people feel more emotion towards the article and will get people to feel how
the people in the article feel. Moral panic could be cause through the images
that I put in my article this is because this when people look at the article
then they will see the images of people and start to worry themselves about
what they do online. I will try and avoid causing moral by saying it in a way
that people will be careful about what they do in the future when they use the
computer and will make sure that they look after themselves when they are
online. I will do this without causing panic by making sure that I use words
that aren’t going to scare the audience that will read it.
My story also covers Galtung and Ruge’s news values the values that this article will cover is: frequency- this topic is talked about a lot to make sure that they are all looked after online.
closeness to home- This means that it will effect people that you are close to or even yourself because this can effect anyone My story also covers Galtung and Ruge’s news values the values that this article will cover is: frequency- this topic is talked about a lot to make sure that they are all looked after online.
ordinary people- This means that I will talk about everyday people which is good because it means that people can easily relate it
Negativity- This is because people are more likely to read about the bad news rather than the good news and this can have a negative effect on people
In this article I will be talking about the internet safety
within the school and how it has changed and the technology has changed.

P3- 5 W's and H
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-43195855
How-long illness (5th paragraph)
Who-bud luckey (headline)
What-died (headline)
Where- at a hospice in Connecticut (5th paragraph)
When- Saturday (5th
paragraph)
Why- long illness (5th
paragraph)
The first thing that I found in the story was the who part I found
this from the first words in the headline they do this so that they know who
the story is about and if people see who it is will click and read the story. The
next thing that they use is the what, they have put this next so that they can
see what the story is about and so that they know what they are going to find
out when they click on the story. The next thing that we find out is the how
they have done this so that you are able to find out how he died so the audience
know rather than dragging it on. The next thing in the article is the where they
have put where he died so that people know in which state that he died in. The
last thing we learn about is the when we learn the date that the man died so
that they know how knew the story is.
P3- sensational language
'Sam decided
to end their friendship': Faiers 'fell out with pal Ferne McCann over her
decision to maintain a relationship with ex Arthur Collins after acid attack
sentencing'
Sam Faiers 'ended her long-standing friendship with Ferne McCann over her decision to maintain a relationship with ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins after he was jailed for carrying out an acid attack'.
Sam Faiers 'ended her long-standing friendship with Ferne McCann over her decision to maintain a relationship with ex-boyfriend Arthur Collins after he was jailed for carrying out an acid attack'.
Rumours of a feud
between the pair were first sparked in December 2017, and a source has now
confirmed to MailOnline that Sam, 27, and Ferne, 27, are 'simply not friends'
any longer.
The source told
MailOnline: 'There is no feud between Sam and Ferne, they are simply not
friends.
'Sam decided to end their friendship when Ferne decided to maintain her relationship with Arthur following his sentence for the heinous acid attack. Reports stating otherwise is attempt at damage control by Ferne’s PR team.'
The former TOWIE
stars, as well as Sam's sister Billie, 28, have been best friends for years,
with the trio all being propelled to fame thanks to the success of the ITVBe
reality show.
But speculation mounted that they had fallen out when Sam sat down for an interview with this week's edition new! magazine - and refused to discuss Ferne while promoting the new season of ITVBe's The Mummy Diaries with Billie.
As Sam spoke about
how she's been getting back into shape since the November birth of her second
child, daughter Rosie, the new! interviewer attempted to broach the subject of
her pal's experiences as she said: 'And Ferne's had a baby as well...'
However, according to
the new!, the reality stars' publicist swiftly cut in to interject: 'I'm afraid
we're not doing any questions on Ferne.'
During the interview,
the representative is also quoted on cutting in when another erstwhile TOWIE
star-turned-mother was brought up for discussion, saying: 'I'm afraid no
questions on Amy.'
In December, rumours
of a feud between Sam and Ferne reached fever pitch, when the former announced
her daughter Rosie's name after a month-long wait less than an hour before the
latter's reality show, First Time Mum, was set to air.
'When questions came
up about Ferne and Amy [Childs] they were stopped for that reason.'
A source told The Sun: 'Their
fallout first started when Ferne told Sam that she had landed her own pregnancy
reality show.
'Sam felt like Ferne
was trying to emulate her success by launching a rival programme – and it made
things awkward between them.
'Ferne was never
going to turn down the show as it was an opportunity for her to make money for
[her daughter] Sunday but without Sam’s support the breakdown of their
friendship was inevitable.'
The news comes after Heat magazine
claimed Ferne is planning to visit Arthur in prison despite her previous vow to
never speak to him again.
First Time Mum
producers are said to be keen to capture the relationship between the two, as
insiders told the publication: 'The producers want her to talk on screen about
Arthur and to be allowed to film if she visits him.

The differences in the titles is that the title they went for a title that draws people into reading into the story whereas the title that I created was straight to the point and told what was happening. I have dumbed this down because I have taken out the words that make the story more dramatic way the way that I have done it is I have made sure that the story is very basic and doesn't be able more over the top than it is. the sensationalist language dumb down the story because it takes all out of the pointless information and also the needless information. what sensational language does to an article is it makes it a lot more dramatic. Newspaper companies do this because it makes the articles a lot more exciting. this is good for the newspaper because then it makes people want to read on and feel like they are involved in the story and the writer is stood next to them telling them about the story that they are reading making they feel like that story that might not even be that interesting but they make the story sound amazing. This is a very effect way of getting people to read the article and get clicks online which is good as it allows the companies to earn money and which will look good for the company.
